Katie focusses in areas that help drive the transformation of our business operating model to best deliver on mission. In doing that, she also supports the Chief Executive with Board engagement on various aspects of her interconnected work programme. Ultimately, this is to scale our impact and the ‘social return on investment’ of our service delivery and advocacy.

Katie has held senior roles in the public sector with the Ministry of Housing, and Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment, for nearly 20 years. These spanned government system strategy, service operations and engagement. She thinks holistically at a system-level to get the best results, is action-oriented, and strategic.

Katie has a Bachelor of Technology. She has always complimented her professional life with various volunteer roles, particularly with sporting clubs and sports coaching. She has long wanted to extend this to work in the social not-for-profit sector and the stars have aligned for her to take this role.
