Hope brings experience in financial mentoring, community support, accounting, and a range of other roles to her work supporting whānau impacted by economic harm. She is passionate about helping people understand their finances, overcome challenges, and access support that enables them to move forward with confidence. Hope is particularly passionate about supporting people to address unjust financial barriers, including avoiding or changing adverse credit reporting where appropriate, and believes in the importance of financial literacy from an early age to help tamariki and rangatahi develop strong money skills before entering the workforce.
As a Māori woman, Hope values a holistic approach to wellbeing and is inspired by the principles of Te Whare Tapa Whā, recognising the importance of balance, connection, and community. She believes there is much to learn from older generations and the strength found within whānau and collective care. Outside of work, Hope enjoys spending time with her family, cooking with her husband, watching cooking shows for inspiration, and being involved in her church community through worship and children’s ministry.
