Lisa te Heuheu

Lisa is an experienced Director and Executive. She has a passion for Iwi/Māori kaupapa and community organisations. Previous roles include board positions with Environmental Protection Authority New Zealand, Te Wai Māori Trust, Seafood New Zealand, and International Indigenous Peoples Forum on Climate Change under UNFCCC. She was CEO of Te Ohu Kaimoana Trust.
Lisa believes in collaborative governance and transparency. She enables a governance culture that helps us move further faster, and a pou that our executive team can rely on. She is a strong leader through change and transformation. She brings a future-thinking mindset and strategic relationship skills.
Lisa has a passion for community outcomes, in particular for women and girls. She strives for them to have equitable access to resources that allow them to thrive and grow with the necessities taken care of. Lisa knows our work has enduring outcomes for women and the communities they contribute to everyday. Lisa enjoys national and international Kaupapa. She sees the importance of being able to learn and scale from a larger network.
