Volunteer with us
Donating your time and expertise is a great way to support Good Shepherd. Volunteer to help women, girls and their families be safe, strong, well and connected.

Your support makes us stronger
Volunteers play an important role in our work. If you want to contribute time and skills to help us do better and do more, we would love to hear from you.
Good Shepherd provides specialist services in financial wellbeing with a focus on microlending and navigating economic harm from family violence. Our small team of permanent employees delivers a consistent and professional service for clients. Volunteers don’t work one-on-one with clients. They offer specific expertise or support to help Good Shepherd in other ways.
We would love to hear from volunteers who can:
- help our team learn and develop, eg through staff training, topical presentations or HR support
- bring an external perspective on our work and key issues, eg by providing expertise in fields like social work, bank lending or financial systems
- support our infrastructure, eg through knowledge of tech and operations
- share our work and stories with a wider audience, eg through PR, media and communications
- keep our office and processes working smoothly, eg through admin and staff support.
If you want to help, thank you! Let’s talk about ways we can work together to create positive change for people experiencing harm and hardship.
